MAI consigned is happy to accept consignment items that can fulfill our customers’ needs. The timeline we follow for bringing your consignment items into the showroom is affected by the available space on the floor.

What our customers are looking for

  • Antique, mid-century modern, contemporary, and custom furnishings
  • Unique “smalls” which accent  today’s looks
  • Excellent condition, quality construction items that do not need cleaning or repair
  • Items that are currently sought in today’s market

What Our customers are generally not interested in

  • Items that are poorly repaired or in need of repair
  • Particle board or assembly furniture
  • Chipped, broken or discolored glassware
  • Large Victorian items

    How It Works

    Step One

    Fill out the form with pictures of your items:

    • Send us descriptions of your items to sell along with photos

    Step Two

    Item Evaluation

    • Once we receive adequate information, we will consider your items based on space available.
    • Upon confirmation of the approximate floor sales price based upon condition represented, you will receive a timeline to bring your items in.
    • IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONSIGNOR TO HAVE ITEMS DELIVERED AND PICKED UP PER THE DESIGNATED TIMELINE.
    • It is the responsibility of the consignor to notify us when the item will be delivered so we can be adequately prepared to accept the item. 

    Step Three

    Final Item Inspection and Contract Finalization:

    • Once we receive your items in our showroom, our staff will inspect and verify the items condition and description.  
    • At that time our staff will discuss final contract details with any necessary adjustments made. 
    • In general the following will apply to all items brought in to the showroom.  
    • 90 day sales cycle.  Beginning when the item is placed on showroom floor.  
    • Price deductions occur as per the contract.
    • It is the responsibility of the consignor to monitor when the 90 day cycle has ended.  Only items approved by staff may remain beyond that time.

    Step Four

    Upon Sale of Item:

    • You will receive payment via check.  Checks are mailed by the 15th of the month following the sale of the item.
